The 4-H Outdoor Challenge consists of 10 events where teams compete to earn point for overall high point position. A team consists of exactly 2 members within the same age division and gender class. Teams compete in all 10 events during one weekend competition. The Texas Chapter of The Wildlife Society's Wildlife Conservation Camp is designed for high school students who have completed 9th grade. Hands-on, outdoor activities such as: wildlife and plant ID habitat management techniques land stewardship hunter safety shooting sports fishing wildlife research and more, are lead by wildlife professionals in Texas. Kent County 4-H Rally Night for current and perspective members and their families. Membership in 4-H is open to any youth 8 years old and in 3rd grade through 12th grade and under 19 years old. There are no membership dues. 4-H Clubs meet monthly throughout the school year for educational programs, recreation and refreshments. Members can also participate in a variety of projects.
