The Texas Chapter of The Wildlife Society's Wildlife Conservation Camp is designed for high school students who have completed 9th grade.  Hands-on, outdoor activities such as: wildlife and plant ID habitat management techniques land stewardship hunter safety shooting sports fishing wildlife research and more, are lead by wildlife professionals in Texas.  Find applications at http://www.wildlifecamptx.org/.  Applications due May 1, 2018.

4-H Rally Night

Kent County 4-H Rally Night for current and perspective members and their families. Membership in 4-H is open to any youth 8 years old and in 3rd grade through 12th grade and under 19 years old.  There are no membership dues.  4-H Clubs meet monthly throughout the school year for educational programs, recreation and refreshments.  Members can also participate in a variety of projects.
